On February 29, 2024, Setif 1 University hosted a meeting the National Committee for Free Software with the President and members, the University institutions Heads and officials of information systems for the East. Pr. Mohamed El Hadi Latrash, President of the Regional Symposium of Eastern Universities chaired the meeting, which was an opportunity to assess the transition process progress of free software use.
