The Islamic Development Bank Group launched the annual competition for the ‘2025 Islamic
Economy Award for Effective Achievement’ to reward outstanding achievements of
individuals and institutions of Islamic knowledge production and innovative development
solutions. This award is for only one category each year, alternating between the ‘Knowledge
Contribution’ and ‘Developmental Achievement’ categories.

The 2025 edition will be to the  ‘Development Achievement’ category for successful contribution addressing the major
development challenges of IDB member countries. Accordingly, those wishing to apply for
this competition should do so exclusively through the online portal
at  https://prize.isdbinstitute.org/how-to-apply before 30 October 2024. Beyond this date, the
second stage process will be launched for candidates to upload their application form and
related documents before 03 November 2024. The IDB will reward the top three winners with
cash prizes of ranked varying amounts:
First rank will receive USD 100,000
Second will receive USD 70,000
Third will receive USD 30,000
