We hereby inform you that we have received communication the Ministry of Higher
Education and Scientific Research announcing two international training offers for the benefit
of the higher education sector.
First: ITEC (India)

It includes the following two training programmes:
- Progress to Proficiency in English – Iteration II (5 August – 15 September 2025)
- Sustainable Development Goals: An Integrated Approach’;, from 7 to 20 August 2025.
Second: Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA)
The University Network Programme of Engineering Education Development:
- To be held in Japan from 23 September to 1 October 2025.
One candidate will be nominated for each configuration of the Indian programme and one
candidate per institution for the Japanese programme, according to the following deadlines:
The deadline for receiving applications for the JICA programme is Thursday, 3 July 2025.
The deadline for the Indian programme (ITEC) is Wednesday, 9 July 2025.
Please note that applications must be submitted exclusively to the Vice-Presidency in charge
of External Relations, either in person or via email (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
The required file includes the following items for both programmes:
- Certificate of English language proficiency
- A detailed curriculum vitae supported by documents proving academic rank;
- A list of scientific publications with links to journals or full-text articles.
Due to the tight deadlines set by the organisers, we ask you to give this matter the necessary
attention, as we are keen to enable qualified candidates to participate in these high-quality
training opportunities.
