On Tuesday, 18 March 2025, Biskra University Humanities and Social Sciences Faculty
commemorated the Victory Day anniversary under the slogan "People who made freedom",
with a historical lecture entitled ";19 March 1962:

The Victory of Algeria and the Failure of
French Colonialism", in the presence of the Faculty Dean, its administrators and the Sub-
Director of University Activities. The event included opening speeches, a documentary and a
historical exhibition with the participation of the university's associations and the Regional
Mujahidin Museum, underlining the importance of the event in consolidating national
memory.
