On 9th April 2025, Biskra University Letters and Languages Faculty hosted a national forum
organised by the French Language Department with the Laboratory of Semiotics and
Discourse Practices entitled « Poetic and Poetic Encounters:

When Chance Makes Good
Choices ». The forum opened a window on the world of poetic encounters and their poetics
through critical and literary approaches that the laboratory’s director, Pr Khaled Grid,
considered necessary to understand its culturally creative dimension, combining chance and
literary inspiration. Thirty teachers were present from various universities, and others
participated remotely from Ouargla, Tizi-Ouzou, Constantine, Batna, Oran and others. The
organising committee announced an open literary meeting on 10 April 2025, with students
and academics with the writers Mustapha Ben Fadil and Fella Andalusia in a discussion and
creativity interactive space.
