It has been a pleasure to welcome Rector Mahmoud Debabeche and Vice-Rector Salim Bitam of Université Mohamed Khider de Biskra, with Consul General Adel Talbi, and Deputy Consul Hichem Siogui at Politecnico di Milano.

Today’s gathering marks a significant advancement in the ongoing collaboration between our respective universities, which has been fostered over the years through Erasmus+ Programs and joint efforts between UMK Biskra and five departments of Politecnico (Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering - DICA; Department of Architecture and Urban Studies - DATSU; Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering - DABC; Dipartimento di Meccanica - DMEC; Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering - DIG) on the “AMAZING” project.

These initiatives embody two core values shared by Politecnico: internationalization and a multidisciplinary approach to education. By engaging engineers, architects, designers, philosophers, and humanists to reflect on our actions as a foundation for responsible behaviour among technology developers.
With today’s agreement, we aim to introduce new joint curricular activities, doctoral student exchanges, collaborative research projects, and exchanges of students, research, and teaching staff.
