Obeying to the reference guide, Resolution No. 207 of November 01, 2023, for academic mobility within the national territory, the University opened registration for 3 rd year bachelor degree students (without debts) and 1 st year master students to study the second semester in other universities within the country, via the following link before January 07, 2024:
The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research dispensed a Study in Algeria label certificate copy to Biskra University from among 15 academic institutions.
In the October 26, 2023 issue of Times Higher Education World University Rankings by subject, Biskra University has taken first place nationally alongside the University of Annaba and the University of Setif in the field of computer science, ranking 801-1000 globally.
On November 15, 2023, at the headquarters of the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI), the Director of the Technology and Innovation Support Centre, Mr. Kamal Awas, received two (02) new patent inventions. This brought the total number to six (06) patents, and 26 new applications (patents) submitted, in addition to 58 patent applications filed this year 2023, to reach the total number of 84 filings. The total number of protection applications filed with the University of Biskra were 116 requests. Congrats to all the university community, with more successful achievements ahead.
